Today Volunteer Prince George acknowledges volunteers that build our communities with random acts of kindness!! Volunteering helps us find friendship, develop trust, and gain belonging. We become more deeply connected to our community and create a sense of unity! During National Volunteer Week, April 16-22, 2023, we celebrate our volunteers for the time, talent and energy they share to strengthen the fabric of our community!

Volunteer Prince George honours, this week and throughout the year, the humanitarian work with countless hours donated by many individuals to help others!! Volunteering is an action we take to support one another. All our interconnected actions help make our communities strong and vibrant. Happy National Volunteer Week
In Prince George, this morning, we started the week at City Hall with the Mayor proclaiming National Volunteer Week, April 16- April 22, 2023! Our flag representing Volunteer Prince George, was also raised today. You can see both of our flags proudly waving through to April 24th at City Hall and by Mr PG. Volunteer Prince George is reaching out to remind our community that we will be at City Hall on Monday morning April 17th at 10am where our Mayor will proclaim Volunteer Week and raise our flag!! Scouts Canada
Volunteer Prince George is paying tribute to our board vice-president, Travis Trussler, as he has accepted the role of Cascadia Council Commissioner for Scouts Canada! We are proud of Travis’s accomplishments with Scouts Canada and very appreciative that he will be continuing with our board to support volunteerism in our city! Join us in congratulating Travis in his role as Council Commissioner and wishing him

Volunteer Prince George would like to invite everyone to a few events we are having: On Monday April 17th at 10 am, we will be at City Hall where our Mayor is proclaiming National Volunteer Week while our flag for Volunteer Prince George will be raised.

Golden Age Social
The Prince George Council of Seniors presents a series of socials with opportunities for local seniors to enjoy live entertainment and delicious refreshments.
