Located in Kin 3 on Thursday, August 13th, from 10AM to 5PM, Seniors Day is a great way to come and check out all the information booths (available Thursday only), visit with old friends and maybe make some new ones too! Admission for Seniors for this day is only $2 making it an affordable and enjoyable way to spend your Thursday! We hope to see
Summerfest
The Annual Downtown Summerfest will be happening Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 11:00am-4:00pm. This festival will feature live entertainment, an outdoor food court, artisan vendors, interactive activity zones, and collaborations with local organizations which highlight the creativity and spirit of our city. We hope to see everyone there!

Volunteer PG will be attending the Northern BC Multicultural Children’s Festival. It will take place on Saturday June 6th from 10:00-4:00pm. Please join us for a day filled with games, crafts, music and live entertainment
Spring into Connection
Crisis Response, Community Led (CRCL) Prince George will be hosting the Spring into Connection event May 16th 2026 in the Civic Centre Plaza. The event will feature local resources, music, skating, food, games, prizes, and more. We hope to see you all there!

The John Cho Cup will take place in Prince George on the 27th-29th of June! They are looking for energetic volunteers to help ensure the fields are in good condition before and after each game (raking, compounding material’s, marking lines, etc), ensure that the grounds are kept clean, (garbage clean up), that attendees are welcomed (gates keepers to take payment of attendee and give out

Volunteer Prince George would like to congratulate the Prince George Community Foundation (PGCF) on their incredible milestone of $10 million dollars in community grants. This achievement shows the hard work and large scale community impact PGCF has had over 30 years of operating. Prince George Regional Conference
On April 12th at 1:00pm the Parkinson Society of Prince George will be holding their Prince George Regional Conference. Children’s Festival
The Multicultural Heritage Society and Live Well Prince George are hosting the Northern Multicultural Children’s Festival on May 31st 2025 from 10:00-4:00. This event will feature a combination of music, arts, games, food and drinks for families and children to enjoy. There are also volunteer opportunities for builders, painters, crafters and children’s entertainers.

Seniors Resource Centre Income Tax Clinic
Do you need help with your tax return? If you have a modest income and a simple tax situation, our Volunteers can assist you! Open to all Seniors who are 55+ and residents of Prince George. Start Up to Success
The YMCA in partnership with JA of BC have developed a youth program between 16-18 years old called Start Up to Success! This after school program is an opportunity for students to develop career, business, and financial skills while receiving compensation during participation.
