Human Trafficking Workshop

The Salvation Army Illuminate, Justice for Girls and Justice Education Society is offering free training on Friday Jan 20th, to support agencies working with victims of trafficking in our community. Presented by Zina Chernowas from the Salvation Army Illuminate, Sue Brown from Justice for Girls and Lisa Hibbeln from Justice Education Society. These three unique perspectives aim to support relationships and build your resources for the protection and prosecution of human trafficking, trauma-informed case management, and client justice services. Gain insight and a fresh framework to support Survivor’s needs for recovery. They want to connect with as many people as possible to create a coalition with the community. Training is at the Prince George Native Friendship Centre from 9am to 5pm. Register using the QR code on the poster.
