The North Cariboo British Columbia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BCSPCA) is recruiting volunteers for cat/dog care, dog walking, small animal care, and outreach positions. Some programs include operating a pet food bank for vulnerable pet owners and also volunteers open their homes to foster sick or orphaned animals. The opportunities to help animals are abundant. No experience is required however a love of animals is a must.
