Description

Better at Home Volunteer Opportunity

Let’s find the perfect role for your skills and interests!

The Better at Home Program supports seniors in maintaining their independence by assisting with simple, everyday tasks. Volunteers play a vital role in helping older adults remain in their own homes and stay connected to the community.

If you’re a good communicator, can engage in meaningful conversations, and are comfortable navigating sensitive topics with appropriate boundaries, we’d love to hear from you! Whether you can offer a few hours each week or month, your time will make a significant impact. Opportunities include friendly home visits or assisting with online grocery orders, and our flexible program can accommodate your schedule.

At the Prince George Council of Seniors, our vision is to help create a community where seniors are empowered to live informed, safe, healthy, and connected lives.

Becoming a volunteer is a wonderful way to stay active, use your skills, meet new people, and make a meaningful difference in someone’s life. We’re looking for friendly, outgoing, and patient individuals who enjoy spending time with older adults.
