Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern BC is looking for a Treasurer as well as Members at Large for our Board of Directors.
The treasurer position maintains an overview of the organization’s finances including: preparing a draft annual budget with the Executive Director; ensuring accurate records of all financial transactions; presenting a financial report and recommending adjustments as required at each board meeting; acting as a signing officer for the organization; reviewing year-end financial reports; and signing the annual financial reports.
As a Member at Large we would love to find a volunteer that has experience and/or an interest in non profits, grant writing, fundraising, business management, childcare management, leadership or other transferrable skills.
We have 9 meetings a year for a few hours in the evening via zoom, with the odd in person meeting. We do not meeting in December or during the summer months.
