Crohn’s and Colitis Canada, Prince George chapter, are looking for volunteers to make a beneficial impact with individuals that live with Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. Crohn’s and Colitis is an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) which inflames the lining of the gastrointestinal tract resulting in severe abdominal symptoms affecting people’s health and daily living.
As a volunteer you will have an important role in this organization to help individuals who have Crohn’s and Colitis disease with building their coping skills, providing education, and advocating for improved public policies. Volunteers can also help with fundraising for Crohn’s and Colitis Canada continuing research, patient support programs and awareness initiatives.
