Volunteers are needed to help us improve food security and food waste reduction. The EAT Canning Circle Program from Everyone At The Table Group, is a food recovery and education program for the novice to learn with Master Canners and for the experienced to pass on their skills and trade tricks of this trade. The Canning Circle improves local food security by donating most of the food produced by the Canning Circle to people in need through programs like Baby’s New Beginnings and Positive Living North. Some of the goods produced are sold as a fundraiser to purchase more jars. Food processed and canned is recovered, imperfect fresh foods from The PG Salvation Army Food Recovery Program.
