About this Role
The Volunteer Exterior/Grounds Worker position is responsible for assisting in general clean-up and
repair of lawn and garden spaces as well as light painting duties at our housing developments. Working
with a team of staff and/or volunteers, the Volunteer Exterior/Grounds Worker will assist with the
clean-up and installation of site specific community garden spaces, landscaping and lawns. The following
list of tasks is a sample of some of the skills or experience we are looking for. Please apply even if you
only have one or two on the list. We can use your help. Various days and times available.

What You Will Contribute
– General construction of a community garden, repair of garden and landscape spaces.
– Exterior painting
– Parking lot maintenance
– Landscape clean-up, pruning, small tree removal, stump grinding
– Lawn clean-up
– Garden maintenance, weeding, landscaping, planting

For This Role, You Will Need
– Experience as a general carpenter, or handyman/woman work
– Experience in the use of various carpentry/power tools
– Criminal Record Check
– Ability to effectively understand and communicate in clear English
