We are seeking Healthcare Advisors to support a culturally appropriate and linguistically inclusive Advance Care Planning project in Prince George, BC. This volunteer advisory role offers healthcare professionals and postgraduate healthcare students an opportunity to contribute their expertise, language skills, and community insight to improve equitable access to healthcare planning for diverse populations.
Key Details:
Mandatory: Criminal Records Check
Eligibility: Healthcare professional or healthcare student (postgraduate degree or higher)
Language requirements: English (required); Punjabi and/or Chinese (required)
Commitment: Minimum 6 months, approximately 2 hours per week plus meetings
Meetings: In-person, hybrid, or virtual
Benefits: Certificate of completion and gift cards for each meeting attended
