Wild About Outdoor Learning Society (WAOLS) is a non-profit society whose mandate is to get people outdoors more often for health and wellness, to foster relationships in the natural world, and to enjoy deep learning experiences. WAOLS initiatives are educational, experiential, free, and outdoors.

WAOLS seeks enthusiastic volunteers to support the Wild About Lheidli Keyoh Prince George (WALK PG) outdoor festival on Saturday June 1, 2024.

Volunteer Commitment

1 hour orientation

Full day – Saturday June 1, 2024 (8AM to 5 PM)

Qualifications:

Love being outdoors and connecting people to outdoors

Smiles regularly, laughs occasionally

We would like to develop a long-term relationship.

Benefits:

You would get to collaborate with a diverse range of community leaders and to practice grass-roots, community-based programming.

Food and drink on Jun 1, 2024.

WALK PG is grateful to be in partnership with the Lheidli T’enneh, School District #57 and the School of Education and UNBC.

WALK PG 2024 will be held on Saturday June 1, 2024 at Cottonwood Park from 10 AM to 3 PM.
